Anse Laborde Beach
Anse BertrandPlage de Anse Laborde à Anse Bertrand Guadeloupe: Photos et description
Anse Laborde beach is located on the northwest coast of Guadeloupe, on the edge of the village of Anse-Bertrand. It is off the beaten track, is somewhat isolated, making it an ideal place to find some peace and quiet away from the crowds. Nestled between two cliffs, this magnificent beach is animated by waves which add a touch of dynamism.
A vast beach long 500 meters facing the West Indies Sea. Little frequented, it is lined with grape trees and catalpas, offering an ideal setting for a relaxing day.
The sea is pleasant, although the sea can be rough with strong currents. On a clear day, you can admire a magnificent view of the islands of Montserrat and Antigua. Nearby, on the slope of the hill, Ox pulling competitions take place during the patronal festival.
