Anse Bonneville beach
TrinitéAnse Bonneville beach : Pictures and description
Located between the town of Tartane and the Dubuc Castle, the Anse Bonneville is a renowned surfing spot, which regularly welcomes Atlantic swells. It mainly attracts local surfers, constituting a group of loyal visitors.
To access the Anse Bonneville from our vacation house rentals in Martinique, you will need to go to the Caravelle peninsula, located on the Atlantic coast. After having traveled approximately 1.5 kilometers from the exit of the town of Tartane, you will take a road on your right, just before the main road turns into a track, to reach this beach popular with surfers.
The Anse Bonneville beach offers a surprising feature: shallow natural pools that line the beach, despite the waves that crash on the coast. These shallow "natural pools" are a great place to relax and splash around, while you can watch surfers indulge their passion in the beautiful waves.
In the shade of the trees that line the beach, a small picnic area offers a space for rest and dining.
The more adventurous looking for strong emotions can take advantage of the services of a surf school on site, which offers initiations and board rentals. This allows beginners to familiarize themselves with the sport of surfing while enjoying the setting of the Anse Bonneville.
